Tommy just got himself a remote control pig and he's playing freely with it. I guess if you can afford one, you can play with them too. It's kinda sad though because i guess everyone can buy pigs here in Indonesia.

In reality, for example if we are caught crossing a red light or driving without a license, we are given two options. The first one is to go with the law which you will have to go through such confusing bureaucracy that will take super long or to 'settle' with them and pay a certain amount of money which will go straight in their pockets. Most people just choose to pay and walk free. If not they'll take your vehicle.

On Sunday 13th February, street artists from all over Indonesia made a movement to send one simple message to the country. The message was "Berbeda dan Merdeka 100%". Which means '100% Different and Free'. It is a short phrase to remind all of us to show respect and give tolerence for all the differencies that exists.

Look who's at the door? It's Anna. Ready to go out to look what's going on outside the Stereoflow world. A lot of things are happening right now in Indonesia. Good and bad. I feel like it's time for me to talk to a bigger audience. Not just the street art enthusiasts. Like Dead Prez said "It's bigger than Hiphop". So I'm going to say it like this: "It's bigger than street art".

FYI: If you are wondering why I've given the name Anna for my female characters and Tommy for my males, it's because I'm studying the anatomy of the body.

Fishing. If you're lucky enough you'll catch a fish. If not you won't catch anything or maybe catch the wrong kind of fish or even an old boot. But people love to go fishing. They wait patiently for the catch. And sometimes people go just for the atmosphere and the experience in it.

So what does fishing have to do with street art and the urban culture? Well try to change "fishing" to a thing that you love to do. In my case, street art. And the catch is that moment you succeed putting up your piece of art on the street.

Pasted some Stereoflows around the city. It is my way of doing throw-ups i guess. Flow like you know.

Throw-up:
A throw-up or "throwie" sits between a tag and a piece in terms of complexity and time investment. It generally consists of a one-color outline and one layer of fill-color. Easy-to-paint bubble shapes often form the letters. A throw-up is designed for quick execution, to avoid attracting attention to the writer. Throw-ups are often utilized by writers who wish to achieve a large number of tags while competing with rival artists. Most artists have both a tag and a throw-up that are essentially fixed compared to pieces. It is mostly so because they need to have a recognizable logo for others to identify them and their own individual styles.*

Night Love | Pen and Markers on Paper | 2010

"In the dark when day light ends, all logic comes to a halt. The minds take a break, now the lust takes over. A gentle caress awakens me more, a gentle kiss makes me want to roar. No longer it will be gentle, the primal instinct burst from within. The clothes get torn and our bodies get thrown, in a state of wild trance we do our sexual dance. We do it 'til we lost control. And when it's done, we go back and dance some more."

An artwork exclusively made for Monstore and it's now available on these cool white tees. Visit their site for further details and complete information on how to order this t-shirt.
