extra chili turned out too hot
extra money made me not work

into the green grass that was yellow

feeling both are becoming too many
but one is never enough
because time is too skinny

and thin like air
i try too breath

the direction was forward
enjoy the trip
silly songs to blues
it became too quick

too much of a game
scores were made
like painting over outdated posters
emotions were paid

but time cracked the colors
didn't have the basic
tried not to peak
always try to case it

but it found us
the rear view mirror was too much of a distraction
like thick fog, we are now blinded
but hey, it's only a memory bump
